How can we help?
Moon Shadows is designed to work without an account or complicated setup, and its core planner needs no network connection. If something is unclear or not working, tell us what you saw.
Email supportsupport@moonshadows.appUseful details to include
- Your device model and operating-system version
- Whether the issue happened on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or a complication
- The selected date and whether you used the sample, current, or a picked location
- A screenshot, if it helps explain what happened
Location permission is optional
If you deny location access, every planning feature remains available using Griffith Observatory or a place you find with Pick My Location. You can choose Use My Location later from the location control in the app.
Current clouds, not a forecast
On iPhone and iPad, Moon Shadows can use current cloud cover from Apple Weather to temper the hero's astronomical promise with what the sky is doing now. It does not show forecasts or hazard warnings. Turn Check current sky conditions off in the location sheet to use the complete geometry-only planner with no weather request. Haze, terrain, buildings, and vegetation can still change the light and shadows you actually see.
