Using Moon Shadows
Moon Shadows is a personal planning utility that estimates the positions of the sun and moon, useful light windows, and the direction and length of cast shadows. You may use the app for your own lawful personal or professional planning.
Planning Estimates
Calculations are based on the selected date, time, and location. Terrain, buildings, vegetation, weather, atmospheric conditions, compass calibration, and location accuracy can change what you observe outdoors. Verify conditions on site when safety, navigation, or critical work depends on them.
Not a Safety or Navigation Service
Do not use Moon Shadows as an emergency, navigation, aviation, maritime, medical, or other safety-critical service. Current cloud cover is planning context, not a weather forecast, and the app does not provide hazard warnings.
Privacy and Availability
Moon Shadows performs its astronomy calculations on your device and does not require an account or Moon Shadows network service. Platform availability and App Store services remain subject to Apple's terms and operation.
Optional Tips
Moon Shadows offers optional one-time consumable tips through Apple StoreKit. Tips may be purchased again, are not restorable, and do not unlock features or change how the app works. The App Store shows the price for your region and handles payment under Apple's terms.
Changes
These terms may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be revised before updated terms take effect.
